dear baby b-
your sister (baby a) has been head down this whole time. none of this flipping back and forth business. i would sleep better at night if i knew i could count on you to stay head down this time! you're causing me anxiety!
thanks love. you're a peach!
love, mom
p.s. see you soon!
let me explain:
up until the end of august, both of these little kiddos were vertex (head down). after a little trip to the hospital one saturday night, we found out that baby b (the one on my right side) had flipped and was now head up. this makes the delivery options a little more complicated, but we weren't worried. we know we are in good hands at the IMC where we will be delivering. well, all month baby b has been breech. when we went to the doctor last friday this was still the case.
when i went to have my non-stress test this morning, i found out that baby b has flipped yet again and is now head down again! haha, she is quite the little mover! i'm hoping she decides to stay where she is this time though because if she does, it makes the delivery less complicated and a c-section is less likely to be needed.
however, if she is still able to turn herself around at this point in the game, who's to say she won't do it again! i think we know which twin will be the one that just does her own thing no matter what, huh?
so join with me in this chant: "stay baby, Stay Baby, STAY BABY!"
lily was breech from day one. she never flipped and the day before they were going to try a version to flip her, my water broke so i ended up having a c section. can i just say... c sections = best. thing. ever. easy easy easy. 15 minutes and the baby is out - no exhaustion from pushing, quick, easy. so don't be nervous if it ends up being a c section - i know lots of people who would choose it if they could :)
ReplyDeletegood luck! hopefully those chickadees decide to give you a break and come a little early. you look great!!!
Hurray for 34 weeks! Just a couple more weeks and you will be Golden! Stay babies stay! You look adorable as always.
ReplyDeleteYou look so great Becki!! I hope everything goes well for you! You are only a week behind me but I bet you'll have yours first!! Good Luck with everything! I'm sure it will all turn out great!! Much love!
ReplyDeleteStay baby, stay baby, stay! Don't cause Momma more anxiety!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, you look beautiful.
dear baby a...thanks for your wonderful example to your sister! maybe next time you give her a good kick or punch, you could keep her head down. maybe next time you feel a kick from her to your FACE, you could flip her around. idk, just a thought! she's later in the alphabet than you are, so you've got to dominate that womb!! show her how it's done!
ReplyDeletep.s....you're looking HUGE! in the best way imaginable, obviously! we'll keep praying for you that those two adorable nieces of ours won't be in the NICU!
