New Pets

So the highlight of the month of May for the girls was getting some pet fish!  After a few mishaps and a few dead fish, we have it figured out.  We have 2 pet glow fish and 1 little ghost shrimp.  The girls are IN LOVE!
Sabrina and Fiona are always talking to/about the fish, they wave and blow kisses and include them in their prayers.  It was such a great purchase for us because the girls have so much fun watching their little pets.

May Recap via Instagram

Since we have iPhones now, I take about one million more pictures a month than I used to.  So since I'm so far behind in my blogging, I'll try to just post a few (A LOT) of our pictures to recap the month of May.

We did SO many fun things!  We went to the library, This Is The Place State Park, and the Zoo.  We played outside, we played on the swings, and planted flowers.

New York Day 5

Our last day in New York, I will always remember as our "You've Got Mail" Day.  That morning we went with Aunt Jan to eat at Cafe Lalo (Where Meg Ryan meets Tom Hanks there, but doesn't know that he's the one she's been talking to online) and had a delicious breakfast.  Then Aunt Jan and Kimball went off to the driving range and we went to Zabar's again (the grocery store in the movie) and then up to Riverside Park.  We saw all the boats parked off on the docks (another scene from the movie) and then we walked up to the park on Riverside and 91st Street (It's where Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks meet at the end of the movie. "I wanted it to be you so badly!)  Then we headed back to Aunt Jan's apartment to finish packing up and we headed to the airport.  We were so excited to see our sweet girls that night and missed them so much, but we had a great vacation!

New York Day 4

On Monday we went down to the shopping district and walked to the Rockefeller Center, the Lego Store, Tiffany's, Columbus Circle, and just walked around the area. We got lunch from the Indian bar inside Whole Foods and then caught the train out to New Jersey to see the Hawkins! We had so much fun visiting them, it was definitely the highlight of the trip for me, seeing them! Sadly, I got almost no pictures while we were out there. Silly me.
